Organization of an exhibition

Remember, a few months ago Thierry Hourquet, President of a club of model makers in Indre, “Workshop M.F.G.”, and Thierry Celor, donated to “les Amis de La Martinerie” a collection of models that had belonged to Bernard Massicot.

At that time, we had agreed on the joint organization of an exhibition of models in the premises of “la maison départementale de la mémoire militaire”.

This exhibition was carried out from October 8 to 12, 2022. It was a success, an inauguration by Florence Petipez, representing Gil Avérous, president of Châteauroux Métropole, unavailable that day, many visitors, external exhibitors (Jean-Pierre Petiot, Patrice Parot, Didier Philippeau and Laurent Renaudet), live creative workshops, … in short, nothing but satisfaction for the organizers.

At the end of these 5 days, Thierry Celor decided to offer three dioramas and, with Nicolas Pierry, to lend two of them to “les Amis de La Martinerie” to animate the visit, early November, of children of the primary schools of ETRECHET.

Thanks to Thierry Hourquet, president of “Workshop M.F.G”, to Justine, Thierry and Nicolas his members present to ensure the animations, to Bruno, Dominique, Frédéric, Jean-Jacques, Jean-Pierre, Marie, the two Michels, Philippe and Roland, volunteers from “les Amis de La Martinerie” for their availability during the exhibition.

In view of the success of this event, “les Amis de La Martinerie” are ready to organize more exhibitions.
