You may recall that a year ago, at the request of Mrs. Mauricette PETIT, we undertook a mission to Lignières to take charge of the museum belonging to the late Mr. Michel PETIT.

Many of the documents related to the Indre-et-Loire region, Mr. Michel PETIT’s home department, including eight binders concerning the Maillé massacre, an event Mr. PETIT had miraculously survived at the age of fifteen.

On Thursday, July 9, with Mrs. Mauricette PETIT’s approval, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mrs. Lydiane Guiet-Montchal, Director of the Indre-et-Loire Departmental Archives, to hand over a large number of documents and artifacts concerning her department.
