The plane's stripping is complete. We will soon move on to the painting phase, followed by reassembly. We will then have to install it at La Martinerie and then redo all the woodwork.
It took us seven and a half-days to strip the structure. Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Noël, managers of the SNCG body shop in Céré-Coing, and their team for their warm welcome and our volunteers who worked hard. Thanks also to Mathieu, an apprentice at the body shop, who worked alongside Antoine, Christian, Jacky, Jean-François, Jonathan, Nicolas, Philippe, Roland, and Xavier, dedicated volunteers from our association.
Since we received mixed feedbacks regarding the color of the structure, it was decided, given its future location at La Martinerie and to make it more visible, to paint it yellow like "a daffodil on a bed of greenery."
See you soon for the next step.
